MS and head twitching

I was dx'd with MS about 3 years ago and I have been having head twitches for a while now. I guess this could be coming from muscles in my neck, but I was wondering if it could be coming from or be a side effect of the MS? Any help is appreciated.

LOL!!! no wonder hubby thinks it's "cute"! always agreeing with him!
when my shakes were just going out of control (i drive all over the place) and the "jiggy" right leg kept on wanting to hit the gas (no, really!) i told my Dr i was out of control. Ain't that a wonderful thing when you're on the waiting room looking like you need an exorcism? (there you go, bad taste again).
If it gets too bad, and you know, thing is that you put so much energy trying to "control" the twitching, you're exhausted by the end of the day. MY sweet Dr put me on Grifoclobam. It worked like a charm! no side effects, at least for me, and you will be able to sleep and disagree with hubby!!! hehehe...

Like Deb, I have tremor of the head, as well as tremor of the right hand.  It's been bad this week - i sometimes feel like I must look like a Parkinson's sufferer, because my head is shaking like a bobblehead doll.  It gets worse, like all my symptoms, toward the end of the day.

Head twitching, like the muscles are pulling it around, is a little different.  I woke up one time because my head was twitching to one side.  Freaked me out a little.  Hasn't happened since, fortunately.

I'm not yet Dx, but I do have times when my head will move back and forth...or seem to move to the left then back to the front...if you know what I mean.

It doesn't happen all the time, and it hasn't happened in a few weeks or more.... but I've had it on and off for a year or so.

I know when it first started my family said why are you shaking your head...I said I don't know...it just wants too??

I thought I was loosing my mind...I guess I should write this down for the Dr too...more info...

take care

LOLOL. I'd buy it.

My hubby thinks it's cute because it looks like I'm always agreeing with him. The back spasams all night aren't so cool. my knees will jerk up to my chest (even when lying on my back). Also it seems like my whole body jerks all night. Very frustrating. At least it keeps me limber ;)

I have right side tremors. Can't write or stand without my "cane of death" (i beat annoying kids, i'm my own Dr House... nah, just kidding)
I also had the twitching. It was from right to left and dammit, it annoyed me. I also had this twitching on my back and it used to hit me at night.
When i'm on a full on attack, i look like i have Tourettes, Parkinsons and all sorts of things, including high alcohol levels in my blood, since my main lesion is on that part of my old brain. I sound as if i were in constant Spring Break. Next thing you'll know, i'll be "Going Wild" hehehehe, not even, but, i need to say it "MS patients gone wild! You won't believe all the symptoms they have and what they do with them!!!! Order now!"
I know, bad taste...

It is VERY annoying. I'm aware that it's happening and I feel it, not really pain, but it's like my body is constantly wanting to fight the movement. It wakes me up at night at times. My hubby thinks it's "cute" but I just want it to stop. Wjen I forget to take my muscles relaxers and flexerill, it def get's worse, which is why I wondered if it was muscular instead of the MS. However, when my MS flares, it get's worse. So who knows.

I have more like a rhythmic tremor.  I don't know what's causing the twitching that you're having, but my guess is that it's the MS.  This must be very annoying.  Deb

It's hard to explain. I've always thought of it as twitching. It happens all the time, but not constantly. My head makes jerking movements, not shaking. It happens as much as 10 diff times in a min or I can go for up to an hour with none. I have various other diseases, including Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. I never know what's causing what :)

Are you talking about head tremors?  Since February, during a flare up, I get head tremors on and off.  My tremor is probably from the lesion in my cerebellum.  Do you have this all the time, or does it come and go?  My neuro says that this kind of tremor is very difficult to control and it's treated with Inderal/Propanolol (which I already take).
