MS or Sjogrens?

My mother age 64 was diagnosed with MS 2 years ago. She was also diagnosed with gallbladder disease (which was removed at that time) and acute dehydration. Problem is she was also very "altered". She now has left sided weakness and tremors in her left hand. Acute cramps in her left leg that wake her. There doesnt seem to be a cramp when massaging her leg but she swears its there. Recently she became very ill and was hospitalized again. we let the docs know she had MS . following spinal taps, cat scans and MRI's the neurologists said NOPE..no MS present in spinal fluid or serums. Now we're being told she has Sjogrens. I did some reading and I just dont agree. She doesnt have dry eyes or dry mouth. Just left sided weakness, tremors, acute leg pain and is very "wobbly" when walking. Can anyone help? where do I turn? what could this be?

From what I understand, dryness of the eyes and mouth are typically present in Sjogren's. On what basis did they make the diagnosis, salivary flow testing, Schirmer's test, antibodies for SS-A and SS-B? Have they considered Parkinson's as a possibility?

Where your mom's MRI's positive for any lesions in the brain and spinal cord, when she was first diagnosed with MS?
