Yes, I don't mean the scar on your skin from the back surgery. Just a thought can scars be mistaken for lessions?

Most people will have scars anywhere that they have surgery. Are you thinking of lesions as scars on your spinal column?
I guess I don't really understand your question. I have a scar on my lower back from an L4/L5 laminectomy. I don't think the scar, or the stenosis that required the laminectomy had anything to do with my having MS.
I am assuming you are speaking about the lumbar spine? If the reason for concern would be it might be mistaken for MS, it won't. The lumbar spine is not even scanned for MS. (I fail to remember the exact reason). Only the cervical and thoracic spine is imaged.
