Medical Conditions & Driving

http://www.1011now.com/home/headlines/Medical_Conditions_and_Driving_120329729.html

Hey there, this is just a small article that our local news had on last night.

I have recently learned that I will not be driving while it's dark and rainy. The lights reflecting off the pavement, the windshield wipers going back and forth and back and forth, and the noise of the rain was just WAY TOO MUCH for my brain to process.

Have a great day everyone! =D

I barely drive anymore, if I do, it's only a few block and only if really necessary.  I usually get a volunteer driver or my hubby.

I can't do rain, darkness, or traffic.  The car at my side effects my vision as well as my coordination is off and I stop way before hand.  It's just another thing that I can't do anymore and I hate it.

take care

My neuro told me not to drive on the expressway anymore as it is too much sensory input. MY brain , along with my eye issues, cause an overload and my brain can't process it properly.

Guess I get to nap on the next long road trip :-)
