Menstrual Irregularities and Avonex (Interferon beta-1a) Injection Usage

What have you experienced while on this treatment in regards to your menstrual cycle? Did it remain regular, become heavier, lighter, absent? Any responses would shed some light, it's a hard topic to research. Thank you!

For the same amount of time I have had MS symptoms 28 months  I have had periods all the time. I had an endometrial ablation 4 months ago and it did no good so far. I have had three periods in September. Sometimes I bleed for two weeks straight.  Sometimes heavily. I have only been on Copaxone five months.

My gynecologist who is tops in her field at Duke says no one really understands the female reproductive system.

For 32 years I ran like clockwork cycle days, days on, and amount of bleeding.
