You have previously addressed both cardiac and anxiety issues. I think both are more than sufficient to account for what you're experiencing.
Hi,
I experienced this just before I was formally diagnosed, I honestly didn't know what was happening! As you've just described being a tight squeezing feeling band across under breast was exactly how I experienced it. I'm sorry, not sure where the band across ankle comes into play.
I do hope you'll be ok,
Take care.

The first step to being diagnosed with MS is to go to your GP and have a neurological exam. That is reflexes, balance, strength, and following the finger with your eyes. If this is abnormal then your GP can send you to a neurologist. If it is normal then it is something else going on.

The MS Hug is commonly described as a squeezing, tight restrictive sensation or a banding feeling (fully or partially) around the trunk area of the body. The 'symptom' is not exclusive to MS but in regards to MS, it is associated with spinal cord lesions.
When the Hug is in located within the rib cage, the intercostal muscles (between the ribs) are affected, these individual muscles enable the rib cage to contract and expand whilst breathing but cord lesion can causes these muscles to spasm and lock, which creates the tight banding sensation.
Banding descriptions but around limbs is commonly associated with peripheral neuropathy, and similar descriptions in the truck area can be associated with many other medical issues, ie heart issues, mental health, viral chest infections, gastric, thyroid etc etc
Cheers.........JJ
I've done a message for you.

Ok thank you. What were your first symptoms, and how did you get diagnosed?
