Thanks for filling me in, Tanya. Your MRI and symptoms are suspicious. I can't wait to hear what your neuro says. Those "strange" feelings in your legs when your "pants rub up against it," is a weird sensation, isn't it? Sometimes I swear that water is running down my legs and of course, there is nothing there.
With all your numbness and tingling, has your doctor tested your blood sugar levels? Since I have MS and diabetes, I can tell you that the neuropathy that you describe, can happen with both diseases.
Not finding words or having memory problems can be consistent with MS. I hope for your sake that it's not MS. Would you please re-post when you talk to your Neuro?
I hope you understand that no matter what this is, you are not alone Tanya. We are here to support you in any way that we can. Please keep us posted.

Sometimes there will be a burning feeling in it. My reflexes seem to be jolty at times , I also have moments when I feel stiff.
Anyways it all started in August.
Thanks for your help
I have been diagnosed with MS for 12 years. After my first attack, some of my symptoms never left me.
Usually flair-ups last more than 24 hours and can go on for weeks and dreadfully, sometimes a month or more. Can you have fleeting symptoms? YES! These are usually due to increased fatgiue, an infection, stress, etc.
Have I ever been "years" without symptoms? NO. I have Relapsing/Remitting MS, but slowly progressing, which is no unheard of considering I am now in my 50's. Thank God it's slow progression.
You also ask if there are good days and bad days? Of course there is. My question to you, have you had a flair-up that lasted more than 24-48 hours and lasted weeks? Or are you talking about only having symptoms for a day or less and everything returns to normal?
Give me a little bit more information about what you are feeling and how long things last and maybe a little info on what kinds of symptoms you are having. Maybe I will be better able to give you a little more information - just based on some of my experiences and what I do know about MS. Keep in mind that I am not a doctor, so I am taking a guess..when I try to offer an explanation to you.

P.S. Have you had any testing for MS?
