Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis
is a chronic, degenerative, progressive disease of the Central Nervous System characterized by small patches of demyelination in the brain and spinal cord.
The cause of MS is not known. (Brunner and Suddarth - TextBook Medical Surgical Nursing)
To begin with, I'am a registered nurse from the Philippines
As far I know, this MS is more common in women than men.
Diagnostic Procedures:
Spinal tap (Lumbar Puncture)
MRI ( visual ) for plaques
