Ah Kelly, here we go again huh??? Just like we have all gone through wtih our dx's. I am so sorry that they don't know yet, but on the other if it is true, THEN YIPPEE !!!
But, obviously, something is wrong, and they need to step it up and figure it out.
Try and be patient, though I'm hoping that you can relax in the sunshine and, let it warm you with your cup of tea.
Take care my friend, I will be praying for you, and for the Dr's too............... this is so very hard for us and the families, and sometimes, they just need to be remeinded of it ..

MS most definitely causes fatigue. That I am sure of. I take Amantadine to help out with mine. Weight loss I've never come across. I would think more weight gain because our symptoms tend to make us more sedentary. I hope you can get help with the depression Beverly Jean.
We had fun at the ER yesterday. I had a severe rash all over my arms, chest, neck, and face, a swollen uvula (thing hanging down in the back of my throat), and hives in my mouth/throat from the brand new medicine I started yesterday morning. I had called Cigna's Ask a Nurse and she said to call an ambulance. We live just a few minutes away, and it takes an avg of at least 7 min for emergency responders - so we just drove over there.
Needless to say, the doctor who saw me says that I'm never to take that type of medicine again, or it could be much worse the next time around.
I also have experienced extreme weight loss. I'm down 40 lbs in the last year. All my blood work is normal however I'm suffering severe fatigue. I have blurred vision and have fallen several times. I had one great grandmother who couldn't walk and all my grandmother told me is that she stopped walking and died when my grandmother was 13 my other grandmother had a breast removed and lived into her 80's. Does ms cause fatigue and weight loss. The doctors in my area aren't the best and i'm considering going to the mayo clinic for another opinion.
I just want to feel good and be able to be a good mother to my children. I'm starting to suffering depression from all this.
I hope your dr can help you figure out what is going on with you. Cancer can be very aggressive and I would think that you should go ahead with the biopsy before you get worse.
Best of luck to you.
Yes, at least she's planning to continue care for me.
Actually, she already has access to my mom's records, because she was my mom's oncologist before she passed away.
Thanks everyone.
how frustrating to not have some answers. I hope that doesn't last long......... L
Kelly,
Praying and wishing the best for you and trusting that the Lord will take care of you. I will cont' to lift these appts you have in prayer.
I know it must be frustrating and nerve racking because you were here with your mom. Please don't lose your faith!
It does seem as if your doctor is trying her best and that is a blessing to have a doc that cares.:)
Try to stay positive and take care of yourself. (My brother drinks ensure to keep his weight stable due to chemo after battling colon cancer). They taste pretty good.:)
Godspeed on the ASAP! I hope they get it scheduled soon.
Hugs and blessings,
Tammy:)
How frustrating for you! It seems strange to me, that they can't see beyond their limited scope. Is there anyway you can get some of your mom's records? Maybe that would help.
