Need help with diagnose

hi all,
the past few months have been a nightmare for me as i have suffered from an incredible amount of symptoms. The urologist found nothing, the ENT found nothing, the gastro found Reflux Oesophagitis. But none of them has an explanation for everything, and certainly nothing that ties it all together. So i have been suffering from extreme anxiety and fear of something bad and can't bring myself to accepting the fact that it might all be 'just' stress.

Here are my symptoms:
- Penis pain that comes and goes (occasional)
- Burning in penis after urination (occasional)
- Itchy anus (occasional)
- Pain in testicles (not since 2 months ago)
- Pain in various muscles: hips, rib cage, lower back, upper back between the shoulder blades (especially in one particular point), chest, throat, back of head, left knee, and recently a finger on my right hand. This pain travels constantly: one day it's my back hurting, one day it's my chest, one day my pelvic area...when these muscles hurt, i can put a finger on them and they are very sensitive/painful.
- Nausea
- Heartburns
- Fatigue
- Bloating and belching
- Pain below the sternum (stomach?)
- Hoarseness and sore throat and problems swallowing food
- Depression and anxiety

Does this fit the profile of someone with MS? thank you for you help.
best.

Hi YK - Welcome to the group. I'm sorry you're having a tough time.

When I read your list, nothing on it jumped out and said MS.  The nature of MS is that it attacks individual locations in the central nervous system. If the impacted location is the pathway that sends information from your brain to your left foot, you will have difficulty with your left foot. It won't effect you left foot one day and your right hand the next. with the exception of fatigue, MS tends not to be 'global'.

I have MS symptoms everyday; neuropathic foot pain, nystagmus, urinary hesitancy and tinitus. These symtoms are caused by MS damage at specific locations. Because these lesions don't move around my sysmptoms sgtay the same.

If you want to rule MS out completely I would see an neurologigt that specializes in MS. The testing will likely include MRI of your brain, c-soine and t-spine, all done wil and woithout contrast. Blood tests are used to rule out MS mimic like Lyme disease. Lumbar puncture can show the presence of inflammation in the central nervous system. Evoked potential and nerve conduction tests will show any issues with nerves ability to transmit information. The search for an MS diagnosis can be long and often frustrating. Have you seen any neurologist?
