I believe bladder issues are related to lesions in the spine. My recent MRI showed two lesions in t-spine and my neuro said they cause issues with legs, bladder, bowels, etc. Hope this helps, Amy
NeurogenicNeurogenic bladder bladder can refer to any abnormality of urination caused by dysfunction of the nerves. These can include urge incontinence, with frequent strong urges and leaking on the way to the bathroom, hesitancy where it is difficult to initiate rinating and the strem starts and stops. It may cause the bladder to fail to send a signal that it is full and cause any level of urine retention. One of the first signs of this is recurrent urine infections. And any combinations of these is possible.
A really nice discussion of this - fairly medical - is:
Thank you guys for your help .
I am kind of surprised , since my May 07 MRI didn't showed any lesions .
In Aug or Sept 07 , I have notice L'Hermitte sign .
Is it fair to assume , that something is going on in my cervical ?
Thanks again , you guys are marvelous .
