New symptoms...YAY

New symptoms...YAY

Sorry for e misleading title but I noticed in the last couple of days that I am getting zapped with electrical shocks.  I've read other people talk about these and had them very minimally my whole life.  Now I am getting jolts.  Yesterday I got one that made my teeth bang and today sitting at my desk in school i got one that made my whole body jump.  YIKES!  THEY JUST KEEP COMING.

Anyway, I have an appt with a sleep doctor to get a sleep study due to my recent apnea.  I am finally seeing a real MD instead of a physician assistant, and I am only two weeks away from the MS specialist.  Please don't get me wrong, the PA was great before I was having all of these awful symptoms.  But since i haven't been able to walk properly and function many people suggested i see an MD.

Well, I have to think positive. Ive heard so may horror stories about neurologists telling people who are practically disabled telling them they are fine, I am almost expecting it.  Any suggestions on anything I've written will be greatly appreciated as usual.

Tried walking at work today without my cane, not a good idea.  I teach music and my classroom is in the basement.
I had to walk upstairs to the kindergarten class.  I had to hold on to the wall the whole way and felt really stupid.  I felt naked.  Could it be that I am getting used to the cane or that I just cannot move around in large runs without it.

At this point I have no fricken idea.

Thanks again.

Yea, I had a neuro tell me it was a pinched nerve in my neck.  By the time I had my first visit with him I was in a wheelchair for any distance walking.  He convinced my husband and I that a pinched nerve could do that...I asked over and over if he was POSITIVE because it made no sense to me.  Well, he did a great job.  I stayed with him for three and a half years with more and more damage being done to my body.

If the dx doesn't make sense...keep on keeping on.  Don't stop.  I wish I hadn't.
