Next step

Neuro has me doing a new VEP on Monday PM.  Took blood today.  B12, D, assorted other stuff I don't remember.  I think he' s finally thinking that MS is a real possibility.

I wasn't exactly looking, but my dx came 20 years after my MS first arrived. I'm not sure what level of DMD's were around then, or if I would have benefited had I started even 10 years ago. What I do know is that my initial dx was SPMS, in the summer of 2011, and I'm doing just fine :-)

Nothing about this disease moves too fast, for most of us. In my case it took 20 years for it to get really ugly, and thank God that was only temporary. So for me, starting DMD's earlier would seem to have provided marginal benefit.

Good Luck PD!
