North Dakota

Thinking of moving to ND and I was wondering how healthcare is in general up there. I'm in Florida now and have Medicaid. It's working for me okay here, but could use a lot of improvement. Whereas things could improve greatly, I would not want them to be worse.

Thinking that getting away from heat may help things a ton! Any thoughts?

Yes, Sara -

'why not, Minot'  is right but we also had to ask 'who did you p*s# off ?" to be assigned to Minot not just once but twice.

Laura, wasn't the "favorite" slogan "why not minot"?  Also known as where you can get the duty of relocation of precipitation……..

All kidding aside, Laura is right, check it out first. ND can be beautiful in the summer but is brutal in the winter and extreme cold has also been known to trigger MS flares as well as heat.

I feel for you, knowing the darling neuro you probably still have….and medicaid isn't the best thing on the menu.  Hang in there!

ND?  I've been there and have friends who have lived in Minot twice, thanks to the Air Force.  If you are really wanting to go to ND, I would check with their MS society chapter and get a realistic opinion on the quality of care available there.   ~Laura
