OT: Name the baby grandboy

No later than Monday my second grandson will be here.  If the daughter don't go into labor by Sunday she is to report to the hospital at 3 pm.

I am getting so excited.  I was her Lamaze couch the first time around and I get to watch the birth of the second.  How wonderful is that?????

So I will be away over the next week or so.  I will try to ck in.  Keep us in your thoughts and send her good vibes.

We still have not named HIM, any suggestions????

How exciting! It is wonderful that you get to witness this miracle! I'm jealous.

Boys names: my friend named her son Everest. I like it a lot. It's different but still easy to spell,say etc. and I envisioned a strong character when I  heard it. And, he IS one tough little boy :-).

Have fun! Will keep you in my thoughts and will be sending lots of good vibes for a short labor and a healthy baby boy!

I frequently suggest Ezekiel, the name of one of the prophetic books in the Old Testament.  It means "God will strengthen."  Call the boy Zeke for short.

I like Hebrew names, not sure why, maybe because I have one myself?

So for boys, I like Eli, Abraham and Zachary.  
Zeke is good too!

I do not care at all for new, made-up sounding names, for boys or girls.  I guess in this way I am a traditionalist.

A big name for a little guy.

It took some getting used to, but it sounds alright now.

Whatever happened to Bob or Joe or Frank???

His middle name is Michael...that's more like it.

Well we have 5 dogs...all boys called,  Bronson, Milton, Jake, Harley and Hunter.  I also have a son named Jordan.

What a wonderful experience for you.  I hope I get that oppertunity one day if my daughter has a baby.

Thanks to all of you guys.  You are a great bunch.  I love getting all the names.  Missy has been refreshing and reading.

We are so excited.  He will be here for sure in no more than 48 hours.  Too Cool!  I just can't wait.

The really good part is he gets to come home with us, joe and me, and we can spoil him rotten until they move out :0(  They think they will have a house around the 20th.  That sure is much time for spoiling.

The bad news for me is I can't keep him by myself.  I am a danger.  Missy says she is going to tape sticky notes to my dogs that say,  Did you turn the burner off?  

Then my oldest son said, Mom do not be walking while you are holding the baby.

The good news, My stepfather made me the most beautiful rocking chair.  He harvested the wood and the bark from our hills.  I will post a pic of it when I can think of it.

any more suggestions will be appreciated.  We figure with all the suggestions we will know who he is when we see him.

I'm racking my brain for some appropriate name and keep coming up blank.  I struggled to name my children, too!
