OT-but trivia

I thought keeping up with my MS drugs and symptoms was trying but now they have me on blood thinners and that's a guessing game for sure!  Am tiring already of going back and forth to the clinic for finger pricking!  Wednesday when I had my Tysabri, they tested it and it was >8 which is high (supposed to be 2-3) and took me off meds and today it was down to 4.4, so staying off until Sunday and then going on 1/2 dose and rechecking levels again on Monday.

No more complaining about MS!

Finally getting some daytime energy, now that Dog is sleeping all night again.  Took her out this morning for socializing and she did pretty good, she went to the clinic with me.

Hope everyone has a good week-end….I don't do neurology again until October, now to keep from falling, would not be a good thing on blood thinners!

I can't have the machine until I've been on it 90 days, then can do it at home, and unfortunately, I am on it permanently because of the a-fib.
I couldn't afford the oral pill that didn't require testing BUT in reading about them, found that if you had to go to the hospital, say, an emergency surgery, there was nothing to give you to thicken your blood on the oral pill, whereas with warfarin, there is always Vit K, which is $12 a pill but am sure the hospital has something faster in an emergency!

I'm guessing you're on warfarin? That's a PITA, isn't it? I got tired of going to the clinic every week. I know you can get one of those machines for the house. I guess it's more for the people who are permanently on warfarin.
