Just found out today my daughter is expecting a baby boy :) She is due June 18, as of today she is 21 weeks but is measuring 23 weeks so maybe the little booger will show up sooner.

My grandson Diego is almost 15 months old and is going to be a big brother in 4 more months so my daughter is going to have her hands full but it will be well worth it. My kids are 7 years apart so I am sure having them closer together is much better.

I just had to share the good news....I am so excited!!!!!!!!

My son and his gf are expecting their first, by c-section, on March 2nd.  Ours is a boy, too!   Wyatt Ransom is his name.  :)

Wyatt will be my 5th grand baby, but each one is just as special and exciting as the others!

I am now grateful that I had my kids young cause I am able to enjoy my grandkids.

Michelle you are right it is awesome to be a grandmother and it is enjoyable, not that my kids weren't enjoyable but with my grandkids, I can give them back to mommy and not have a 24/7 job with them lol. They are precios indeed :)

There is nothing wrong with having kids later either, usually the longer you wait the more prepared you are. I look at having my daughter at the age of 19 a blessing for me because I was not making the best choices in my life at that time and she completely turned my life around for the best :) Yes I am a young grandma but a ver proud one.

I have to laugh because when I think about the time my son is ready for kids ( he's 7 ) or my daughter (4) God only knows how I will be, and how old!! I am 39, same age as you and just beginning!!!

You are right when you say you can enjoy your grandbabies now.. Man I hope I make it by the time my kids have kids! Ha Ha

Congratulations on a new grand-baby boy to be!   I think being a grandma would be much more fun (and easier) than being a mom?!  Speaking as a mother of 4 boys, who #3 and #4 are 16 months apart.  Very hard, but now they are best buddies...ages 7and 8.
