I have had problems twice this year with my right eye... pain achy at the back of my eye and blurry/double vision, this lasted a few weeks and the pain subsided first then the blurry subsided.
the first time I had this eye problem I thought it was Pink eye or something so I went to a clinic it was the Easter weekend and the clinic was open.. the Dr there called a Neuro Opthomologist on the phone and he prescribe some eye drops with steriod... it helped after a few days.
I have not been Dx with ON? I was then I wasn't, so I'm not sure if the first Dx of ON is or isn't.. hahaha
sorry... not making sense today..
but I wasn't dizzer then normal..
take care
wobbly
Not that I am aware of. When I had ON, the steroids cause nausea and wicked acid reflux.
The dizziness can be an interesting problem. Sometimes folks begin to have problems with their balance centers and start loosing vestibular and/or proprioception input to the brain. To compensate, visual input to the brain begins to fill in the blanks. I have this "problem." I walk a bit like a drunk during the day, but at night (in the dark or reduced light) I fall down. Sometimes very hard. This is because my brain has lost that extra input from my eyes to keep me upright. I really had no idea how much I depended on visual queues until the Dr. explained it to me. I now keep a flashlight next to the bed. So, if you have lost binocular vision (depth perception) I can think of one way ON might cause nausea and dizziness.
