I have the report in front of me now. it def says 2 abnormal obands found in csf. csf IgG and csf albumin are within normal range. serum IgG and serum albumin also within normal range. csf IgG index and syn rate also normal. No mention of other obands anywhere on the report.
As for symptoms, here ya go. Vibrating/drumming on my left side, tingling, tuning fork in my left foot, vision blurry/jumpy/double, feel shaky on the inside, feel like my tongue is twisting when i'm trying to talk, involuntary muscle movements, muscle spasms like popping popcorn under my skin, hot hamstrings, muscle spasticity, fatigue, cognitive issues/confusion, muscle pain from spasticity.
The report should mention findings that state 2 obands in the CSF, none in the serum or something to that effect. The two go together. If you have the report, read the entire statement and see if it mentions serum. How about the IgG index? Did the report mention anything about that?
Well, the list of other diseases that correspond to oband findings are really rare and would have other lab findings to support them. What else is going on with you symptom wise?

Hi Shell,
Shoot! That's what I figured. I'm going to just stay in pretend world for a little while longer but I have a feeling it's only for a matter of time. My neuro wants me to see an MS specialist for a second opinion. I'm presently playing the HMO/PPO game with my insurance company because they don't want to cover me seeing an MS specialist until I jump through the correct amount of hoops. Fun stuff.
Question - What is the serum called on the lab report? albimum or something?
I'm not aware of more than what you've listed (but that's not saying a whole lot w/my brain these days).
Were the bands "only" in your CSF and not the serum? Report should have noted that.
I'll let you pretend ~H...but only for a little while :))
I'll let the others play along...

p.s. the Dr. should ask for another read on those films, and ask for an addendum...
