Pain under left rib

Hello all...
I'm having a new issue, and not sure if it's MS related or not... I have pain at the base of my left rib.  It's not severe,  just annoying!  I had gastric bypass surgery in Dec 09 and am not sure if it's that or my MS.  Any input here is appreciated.

Update... Had thoracic MRI yesterday with and without contrast... no lesions :)  They did however find a disc protrusion T7/8... so they are thinking the rib pain could be cause by that... PT consult on the horizion!

Hey Alex... Saw PCP, feels the pain is in the cartlidge at the base of the left rib.  Not sure why, having a thoracic MRI Thursday to check for lesions.  Have never had spine MRI to check for lesions.  Time will tell!

The place I always start is my PCP. What your describing could be many things. I am having similar issues and it is hard to sort out some times. I have learned everyone even presents differently for things.
