Possible MS? Brain MRI at the very beginning of pregnancy

I am 27 years old and had a baby 4 months ago.  I had Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2006 treated with chemo and radiation.
The past 2 months, I have had a constant light numbness (like pins and needles) in both arms, both shoulders and lower neck area.  I went to the neurologist yesterday, they did a bunch of tests poking my limbs with sharp objects, they didnt seem to know what was going on because I still have strength in my arms and can feel them, they just feel tingly.  Today they will be doing an ENG test, but they also want me to have an MRI.  I am trying to become pregnant (ovulating within the next few days).  Also, my face started tingling within the past hour on the left side, it feels like its traveling up my neck toward the left side of my face.
Questions:
1. Is it safe to have an MRI during these possible early days of pregnancy (within the next week or so, when I wouldn't yet be certain if our attempts had worked?
2. Does this sound like MS to anybody who has it?
3. If the MRI is not safe, would it be bad to put it off the MRI and possible diagnosis until this potential baby is born in 9/10 months?

Hi there,

Welcome. Radiation if pregnant would not be good so I recommend finding out 1st if you are and then proceed from there.

Hairloss after delivery can be common, but it's best to get a workup from your primary. Thyroid comes to mind when reading your symptoms, not necessarily MS but I'm not an expert, just passing along my initial thoughts here.

You sure are a brave woman working on pregnancy 4 months in from your last! Congrats on your newborn!

Also, my hair seems to be falling out a lot lately, I don't know if this is in anyway related to the tingling?  In addition, I had a large lump under my right arm before I was pregnant, it got bigger during pregnancy, even bigger after the baby was born, then went down a lot.  I had an ultrasound done on it recently and they can't figure out what that is/was either.. According to the ultrasound, it's "not there".
