I am a 36 year old female that was diagnosed by my rheumatologist a year ago with Fibromyalgia. I have been noticing my symptoms were getting worse with increase leg pain, numbness and weakness, arm numbness and vertigo as well as insomnia. I do have a family history of MS and ALS with my biological father. I recently had a MRI without contrast which states: No definite acute incarct or acute intracranial hemorrhage. Showed Cerebral white matter bilaterally reveals a few snall foci of abnormal signal intersity with have questionable significance. The largest is in the right frontal lobe and measures approximately 4mm in length. No evidence of mass effect or midline shift. They are best seen on the Flair images. The ventricular system appears Unremarkable. I do not have Diabetes, hypertension or cholesteral problems. I am an outgoing and healthy person otherwise. I do have an appointment with a Neurologist, but with these findings on MRI and with no other health issues what is your opinion? Please help give me answers!
