Possibly MS?

I recently had a physical from a Soc. Sec. doctor and failed the Romberg test.. I have noticed that I have had some mild to moderate problems with my balance and coordination as well. S/S are as follows.. numbness and tingling of lips/tongue,hand(s) and sometimes foot goes numb as well. Will have flashs/streaks of light within my visual field. Have noticed some problems with my memory. I will be having a conversation with someone and go completely blank as to what the subject matter was..Also get tired real easily..

Sharon, I am sorry your post got lost on page two.  Members are not as active on the weekend on the board so some slip by us.

From reading your post, it seems you are just sharing your journey with us and not asking a question.  Are you dx with MS or one of our limbolanders?  Please share a bit more with us...

Good luck on receiving SSDI.  It is hard to receive in many states due to the back logs of requests.  Let us know how you fare.

No, I haven't been dx with ms. Was just curious about the symptoms i've been having and whether or not it could be possible ms..Thank you

The symptoms you describe could be neurological but they could also be coming from other disease processes. You don't say why you were being examined by a SS doctor, but I assume you have some other problem that has you requesting SSDI.

I hope you can get to a neurologist and be evaluated for your symptoms.

Yes, I do have other health issues that have been keeping me from being able to hold down a job...Heart problems. The neurological symptoms I've been having sure don't help matters any. Maybe I will get to see a neurologist in the near future.. (:
