Pray for me

Pray for me

For those of you with faith, pray for me.  I have some Gyn from having the baby and my OB brushed me off.  I am in a poor state mentally, mostly due to the steroids and having my dignithy striped away at the OB's office.  I am going back to him tomorrow and giving him a part of my thoughts.  Pray for the visit, and that this relationship can be saved.

I will pray for you.  Are you saying you have a gynecological disease that isn't being addressed?

take care,   Red

My cervex is only about 1/4 inch inside my vagina.  My boobs are making enough to feed two cows, and I have never fed.  I need to discuss birth control.  He gave me a scriptfor what I used to take, but I need to have a discussion about that with him.  I need to get  a bone density scan because of all the steroids.  He did a pap smear and never asked permission!  i also have what looks like a blood blister on the outside.  It came during delivery.  It is bothering me.  I was going to have him look at it during the exam but he ws not alone.....

He had a new NP with him and I did not get a single second with him in private to discuss anything.  He also knows that I don't like to be seen without clothes on  by anyone, especally those  Idon't know.  He just brought her in and then intorduced me to her...after I had "changed".

I have been stewing about this for two days.  Post-partum hormones, steroid rage and 3 children have ledto nothing but tears and anger for two days.  He is a good man, but was totally distracted on Tuesday.  I need you to pray that I have his full attention and that I get some answers, not jokes as he is fond of giving.  And, he had better not charge me for this visit if he knows what is good for him and his practice :-)

UGGGG   Oh yea, he said it was fine to have intercourse.  I said "there is not room in there with the cervex lying there"  he said "it will move out of the way".  WEll, if you mess with it it bleeds!  Fabulous!  Spoken like a true man!

I have stoped crying, for now, but I really feel humiliated, angry , and brushed over.  I did overhear his conversation about my rechords with the new NP outside the door.  Don't even get me started on that...

I will be praying for you!  Oh to have doctors that are caring and sensitive to their patients needs!  It would almost be like winning the lottery if that were to happen!

Blessings!

Oh goodness.  If I may offer some advice from my own experience. Write down the areas you want to discuss with him (like bullet points), give yourself plenty of time to get to the office so you won't be rushed in any way before you get there, and center yourself before you talk with him. What I mean by that is try to focus on being completely present in the moment you are conversing with him.

There is power, strength and even clarity when we clear our minds of everything but what and who we are communicating with. This is difficult under normal circumstances but with your homones and physical circumstances, to say nothing of the stress of three little ones at home, you will need plenty of our prayers to help you through.

You can do this!  Be clear about what you need from him and what you want in order for it to work for you.  I will be thinking of you and praying for you.  May you be peaceful, clear, articulate and strong.

Thank you all.  After doing a little reading, I think that what is going on is uterin prolapse.  When I strain it is a level II.  ppartntly, it may get better with keigle exercises, but usually requires surgery if it continues.

I am going to pray for you very hard!

You have so much going on and it sounds like you are hurt, tired and angry.  The fact that your doctor was indifferent towards you is unacceptable.  He may have something going on in his life or something that is causing his indifference but that is not your fault.  On top of that you felt violated and invalidated by him.

It sounds like the two of you have had a good relationship in the past and that he usually remembers to honor your wishes.  I really think that the two of you will come through this very well and that the doctor patient trust will be restored.  I hope he will address all of these things because he needs to.

You have so much on your plate right now.  I hope you can get some time to yourself t rest, perhaps your husband can pitch in more.

I will pray that your doctor will be receptive and compassionate to you and that you are able to release these feelings to him.  Also, that the two of you can come up with a treatment plan to address these new needs.

lots of hugs!!!!

Thanks Red!  I do feel better just for having let it out.  My neighbor and I prayed about the visit and my attitude today.  I am feeling better.  I think that I can go in there without getting all emotional...I hope!

Ann,

Lots of ((hugs)) for you. I also had a prolapsed uterus after my youngest was born (DH says she just wanted to be sure she really was the youngest) and it is not the most comfortable thing, physically or emotionally, but the uterus and cervix moved back into position by 5 months post delivery, and I have been fine since (the baby is 21 months old). I hope that gives you at least a little piece of mind!
