Prescription Dug Plan - No Premium

Medicare has quit covering many medications this year.  My prescription insurance plan is lousy and quit paying for one of my medications all together.

I wanted to share with you a prescription card I got in the mail the other day.  It said it was free to use (uh huh, sure)  Not that I'm cynical or anything.  Yesterday I decided to use it and guess what?  The prescription that usually costs $30.00 cost me $9.00.   I can live with that.  I don't know if the discount is always that good.

Heres the link.  Print one out if you want to try it right away and they'll send one by mail too.  Share this with anyone who does not have prescription coverage or has a med that is not covered.  Might save a few bucks.

This plan states they can offer this "Because of our size and relationships within the pharmaceutical industry, we are able to negotiate lower prices on your behalf.  We get paid by the pharmaceutical companies when you use your card - all while you save money."  What a novel idea.

I know I sound like a commercial but money is tight and this worked for me.

Medicare is making some serious cuts.  My neurologists receptionist told me a story about a patient who was denied the seizure medication he desperately needs.  He is paying out of pocket now and it's a financial hit.

You can use this card even if you have insurance, just can't use them at the same time.

This is good to know.  Thank you for the information.  I am wondering if the Provigil that was ordered for me via my Neurologist, was going back to Medicaid (United Health Care) will approve of it.  I have not heard back from the Pharmacy at all.

Just wow.  I'll look into it.

Thanks again
