QUESTION ABOUT A SYMPTOM?????????????

Could this be a MS symptom?  A couple months ago I had a strange thing happening.  Every time I brushed my teeth I gaged to the point that tears ran down my face.  It was so bad that I dreaded brushing my teeth.  This lasted several weeks.  I am just wondering because I am going to see me GP today, and I am trying to make a list of all the crazy things that have been going on.

Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion.  As you can prob. see I am not very computer swavy.   I initially posted about a week ago.  Went to GP back in Jan. 08 with L eye pain when I moved my eye.  She sent me for an mri that showed 2 lesions.  So she sent me to neuro. they seem to think that it was normal changes.  I also had a mri of c-spine it was normal.
I also was sent to optiomologist he said that I did not have ON.  Since all of this started and I began to read up on MS.  Somethings just started to fit.  I know that MS is very hard to diag.  and I have been unsure where to presue or just wait to see what happens next.  I am 47 yrs old and wondered if it was normal for a person my age to have changes like that.  I am healthy, on no meds.  My Mother has RA. in the advanced stage.  My RA  is normal.  I have tingling in my legs and head.  Floaters in my vision, have been having some pretty bad headaches.  I never have had headaches before. The gaging, gen. weakness, internal tremors, and this may sound strange but the top of feet itch like crazy when I get out of the shower.
I do not have high B/P., and I am not a diabetic.

All of my symptoms are what I would call mild.  They do not slow me down.

I have decided to go back to my GP.  The neuro did not say anything about a follow-up.
Some of this stuff just sounds so CRAZY. And I guess I was just hoping that maybe someone else might have had some of these same symptoms.

Thank you so much for any advice.   And please hang in there with me on my comp skills.HAHA.

Hi lala47,

You posted correctly, but I'm confused.  You mentioned this at the bottom of another thread:

"I hope you don;t mind me asking your age.  I'm just curious.  My neuro. said that my lesions were prob normal changes for age.  I am 47.  I have had and cont to have some simular symptoms."

Lala,
Is this gagging problem in addition to the question about the lesions?  Just want to clarify so we can respond accordingly. I'm afraid if we only see the gagging problem, we won't be of much help....

ttys,
Shelly

After being diagnosed with MS for over a decade, I have to tell you that NO strange symptom is too strange to be from MS.  Really...anything you have experienced, no matter how silly you think it sounds, should be shared with your doctor.

All the Best,
Heather
