and the B12 injections aren't going to influence the results of the LP, from what I know. But I am not a medical expert.
It's easy to drive ourselves crazy wondering, so let me come along for the trip with you. For your appointment, you want to have a list of concise points of things that are bothering you and how it is impacting your life now.
Don't let this be a lengthy list because the doctor won't have time for it. so many of the neuros are on a tight time schedule and will want to control the questions but be sure you stop the doctor and get your questions and points made.
Remember, if this is MS you have a long time to learn everything and don't have to do it all immediately.Take tiny bites of information - don't try to swallow it whole.
Unless you have an aggressive form of MS it will progress slowly and you have time to learn.
remember to be kind to yourself- you are stressed with worry, probably not sleeping well, and spending way too much time on the computer researching your symptoms and questions. Take a short walk outside, read a good book or go to a movie, do something non-medical, non-MS for yourself.
Good luck with the next part of the trip, Laura
