Hi- My mom was recently diagnosed with MS (my grandmother also has it). The MRI showed a few lesions on her brain and quite a few on her spine in the cervical area. The MRI also showed a "nodule" that the doctor wants to get a closer look at. Can anyone tell me what a nodule means in this context ( i know the medical terminology definition, as I am a health science majorMajor tears Major-gesic in college), and what the doctor could be looking for (what does having a nodule imply?). Thanks!
