Saw the specialist yesterday

Saw the new doc yesterday and I feel I am on the right path now.  He spent over an hour with me and really listened ( what a concept!)  He admits I have a lot going on, the arthritis, back issues etc..  I need to take Enbrel for my arthritis but have not been able to because of the possiblilty of MS.  He has ordered another brain MRI to see if anymore lesions have appeared ( I have 3 now) last MRI was 06'.  I am also having an EMG done same day as MRI ( April 5th).   Lastly the bloodwork he ordered is to test for Poly-neuropathy, Muscle Disease and Celiac Sprue.  Can anyone tell me why he would test for Cleliac.  I looked it up and have no symptoms at all that relate to that disease.  My issues are all joint related and now symptons that relate to MS.  Any answers or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Hope everyone has a good day.

Celiac can present with neurological symptoms, and without digestive symptoms. I don't think it's all that common, but I'm not sure. I think it's excellent that he's being so thorough.

I've never been tested for Celiac, and have 2 family members with it.
I'm glad he's being so thourough though! YAY for that!
