Hi all, just wondering if anyone has a similiar experience as I am having. I posted a few days ago, but new developments have occurred. For 2 weeks, I have had vision problems, tingling/numb arm and handHand or foot spasms Hand tremor, has progressed to part of my faceFace pain and leg. I get very light headed often, and feel like I am going to faint at times. My calves have some wicked cramping going on, as well as my toesI also feel very spacy, trouble talking or thinking, bizarre. I had gastricAdjustable gastric banding Culture of gastric tissue biopsy Gastric cancer Gastric culture Gastric suction Gastric tissue biopsy and culture Gastric ulcer Gastroparesis Peptic ulcer Pyloric stenosis Weight-loss surgeriesbypassHeart bypass surgery Heart bypass surgery - series surgery 2+ years ago, and have been on Coumadin since. Had 2 blood clotsBlood clots, and will be on coumadin for life. My levels are all off these past 2 weeks, don't know why. I "assumed" I have some type of Vitamin deficiency. However, I had gone to the ER 1 1/2 weeks ago, and was told I didn't have a stroke, thank goodness, and to follow-up with my PCP. Since then, my vision is still weird and I went to my ophthalmologist Saturday, and she diagnosed Optic Neuritis. OK, now getting a bit more scared. I went to PCP today, and he told me the MRI saw a small lesion ( What the heck is this, by the way!) and wanted to know how I was doing. SO I told him, and they are running tons of blood tests today and I am seeing a Neurologist tomorrow. I am just scared and a bit apprehensive today, and thought I would post and see if these are similar finding to anyone on the board. My PCP mentioned a possibility of MS, but I hope he is wrong...We will see. Thanks for reading,Michelle
There are many, many possibilities for these symptoms...everything from vitamin deficiencies to MS and more. You should read as much as possible in these health pages and be sure to write stuff down with dates so you can give a good history to the doctor. Don't panic...we'll help as much as we can.
Blessings,
Mary Kay
