one more question, I'm going to a psyciatric next week, for an assessment. which I do not mind doing.....it's for insurance purposes and for my own mind sake...

if I have such different blood tests, and bone marrow granulomas, monclonal bands in the gamma region, etc... would this mean it's not in my head as they put it...the closer I get to this appt the more I think it's in my head....but the pain, being off balance, blurry vision, vertigo etc is still there?

thanks for any help

I just received my last weeks blood test and the Sed Rate is down to 32?  Is this normal for the sed rate to change so drastically...from 74 to 32?

I'm waiting for a Cspine MRI...being waiting since Sept and found out it will be done at the end of July this year...hahaha...things just take way too long in Canada.... everything just takes forever...I don't know if I should contact the MS Canada and see if they could help?  my ANA went down from 1:160 to 1:80...does that mean I'm getting better?

I feel so stupid with these questions, but my MD doesn't like me to ask questions.  Not sure why....

thanks for any answers Quix..

Hi, Andie, good to see you're still around.  MS is NOT associated with a positive ANA nor with a high Sed Rate.  (Are you the one with a Sed Rate up in the 70"s?)  These point strongly to an autoimmnune disease, perhaps like Lupus, Sjogren's, or Dermatomyositis.

No, being overweight does not cause the ANA or Sed Rate to be positive!!

Where are you in your work up now?
