Severe Oxcipital Lobe Pain and tingling in the legs

My boyfriend was diagnosed with MS 4 months ago and is on Avenox. Recently he had disabling severe ocxipital lobe  pain and tingle in his legs. He was in bed all day. He did not want to call his MD or go to emergency. Is this type of pain a process to expect? Should he call his MD? Please help me to understand this and help him with this. Thank you for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

I agree with Jen. A consult is in order, if only to reassure your boyfriend.

Hang in there,

It sounds like he's having a relapse, or something similar.  If he's having that bad of a headache, it could be anything - he needs to call his neurologist or his regular doctor.
