Should I be concerned

Hello!

I am a 30 year old female.  I have been seeing a P.T due to pain in my right shoulder which an MRI showed i had tendonitis, however, the shoulder pain has not went completely away and I now have some numbness and tingling in my fingers.  The P.T also keeps saying I have a Major positive Hoffman's sign.  I also am extremely tired, have presistent migraines, burning in my feet, neck stiffness and pain, a lot of visual disturbances (which I always contributed to the migraines) and mental confusion and forgetfulness which I have never had before.  I have had an Cervical Spine MRI which came back normal, so now I wondering, should I ask for MS testing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

thanks everyone, I already see a neurologist for migraines, I see him on Friday and am probably going to ask him, I may also ask my P.T if he sees anyother signs that may point to MS or anything else.

Thanks again, I appreciate all your help and concern

Hi and welcome to the MS forum.

The positive Hoffman sign could be caused by a number of neurological things or by spinal compression, If I understand correctly.

You definitely want to talk to your doctor and perhaps request a referral to a neurologist to be evaluated.

Come back often to ask more  if you want.

be well,
Lulu
