Shower

I have a question.  Has anyone ever felt terriable before getting into the shower then once in the shower it felt good?   Then once you get out of the shower you feel worse than before you got in?

My body is just tightening all over.  Not feeling well and I thought getting in the shower would change that.

I was wrong.

Take care.
Misty..........   Any thoughts on this ?

I know exactly how you feel. My right hand along with right foot is completely numb.   Thanks for your thoughts they were helpful.  Im looking into aqua therapy just waiting for my doctor to approve it. He waiting for test results to come back.   I just feel lousy today like im not myself.  Ive been trying everything to try and feel better. It almost feels like im getting the flu.  I hope not its the last thing i need.

Thanks for replying to my post. I hope things are going well for you.

Take care

Showers of any temp aren't comfortable for me lately.  With my back to the water  flow, it feels like thousands of needles striking my skin, due to paresthesia.

Baths are much better, I can tolerate tepid to warm, not cold or hot.  It really helps all of my paresthesia but especially in my left hand which is the most uncomfortable of all of my body parts.    Like you though, the relief is temporary and is gone immediately after getting out of the tub.

If your body is tightening from spasticity or deconditioning, meds and/or physio and/or massage may help.  Talk to your doctor.  Paresthesia is another story, and is more difficult to treat.
