I came home from Chemo and my cat was so happy to see me. He misses me.

Congrats Alex :-) Critters are often the best medicine. No matter how lousy a day I'm having, one or both of my cats will do something that makes me laugh out loud :-)

I have been so sick lately. It is nice to have something to occupy my time.
Alex
That's great news Alex & I wish you both the best. Fiona will go home to a loving family & it is always nice to hear of dogs being rescued.
Karry.
Oh that's sooo exciting!!! I'm so happy for you! We have two rescues... :) love love them...
11-12 weeks. We are so excited. It means 3 dogs and two cats. I need a project and she needs a mom. Polly has done fine being deaf her whole life. I think she is a better Service Dog because she trusts me so much and I trust her. Hopefully Fiona and I will do the same. I will take her everywhere with me.
Alex
Congratulations! Fiona is lucky to have found you. :-)

This is great, Alex! I know you love Dalmatians, and if I have it right there are a great many deaf ones. I'm sure you can use all the appropriate hand signals to compensate.
We have a deaf Cavalier rescue in my neighborhood and he does just fine. He's a gorgeous guy too.
How old is this little gal?

Hi Alex,
Congratulations!! That is so exciting :) Fiona will be lucky to go to a home with so much love. I really don't think a house is a home until there is a dog in it. Wish you lots of luck! Maybe you can post a picture of Fiona when she arrives :)
