Stem Cell Treatments Outside US

Has anyone gone elsewhere for stem cell treatments? From what I have read they have worked in the US trial. Even reversing some symptoms. Why do we have to wait so long to get a go at this? Has anyone actually gone for these treatments? If so, how did it go? For those who haven't, are there reasons why? What would we really have to loose?
It works in mice. If this is MS, I would be glad to go and sit in a dog crate by the mice and get the treatments. Just joking of course, but really guys. What do you think?

I know it! Maybe we could get two crates and just order out pizza right? Why is the US so slow on this, you know? I have seen that article. I think it is almost cruel to delay this. Have you seen what they have done in rats and mice? These little boogers are running around after a few months. Have you looked at places that are doing this? Germany, China etc?

Teri,
I'm thinking that this relates to a story that was on perhaps the CBS news a month or so ago about a young man with MS who was declining rapidly.  He was in a trial for stem cell therapy - he self donated cells I believe.  you may want to google that information and see what you come up with-

I just googled
success with stem cell research for ms
and get a lot of current information.

I don't know of anyone here yet who has had this treatment  but I would join you in that crate if its big enough!
