Stemcell procedure

I received stemcell procedure seven months ago in Mexico (Texas based clinic) for 10,000 and now have my life back.  I have ms for 19 yrs. and was having four to five relapses a year which the steroids weren't helping anymore.   Since Nov. I have not had any relapses, mentally and physically I am 90 percent better.  I am looking for a job, off all of my medications, lost 50 lbs. and feel terrific--I have my life back--would recommend this to anyone.

hah  yes Stem Cell transplant is no walk in the park!  I am stable at the moment, though dealing with chemo related menopause (at 33).  Hotflashes, weight gain, other fun stuff....

Hi Bonni,

Adding on a welcome. Do tell us how you got to this point if you are comfortable to do so.
I know of one stem cell transplant survivor (actually two) who have both been on our forum, and one of them has MS.

He is doing very well. Though it's not traditional treatment, it has often done wonders for some MSers, including him, as well as others with disease fortunate enough to be a candidate for study.
