Stiff?

Stiff?

I know lately I've been emotional and not able to keep a stiff upper lip, but other than that...

I never really noticed it, but I've been getting stiff in many places!  While I was on prednisone, my stiffness went away, and I was able to do high impact exercise.  I thought this was because of my overall fitness improving plus the stamina from the med.  But now that it is wearing off, I'm much more aware of how stiff I am.

My knees are very stiff, moreso than before I lost some weight, which seems weird to me.  I also have a weird, hard to desribe siffness in my hands.  That started with just my R thumb in Jan, and is now in both hands and my feet, too.  I also thought my walk was getting stiff from exercising too much, but now I think it's just getting stiff.  I do exercise a lot (by my standards, hehe) but wear supportive shows and stick to low impact (other than my bried experience with high impact while on pred.)  I stretch everyday, and I am glad I got into that pratice a few months ago, but despite my efforst, I feel like I am tightening up.  My knees are the only jointts that feel really stiff, the other stuff feels maybe more muscular?  I don't think I have spactic muscles, but I'm not sure how to tell.  I do sometimes get twitching, but not for long periods of time.

So whatever it is seems to be in my hands, feet, and legs.  Not my arms, though they were twitchy a few months back, that's stopped.

Since I have no diagnosis, little obervations like this get me wondering if this could be a clue, so any ideas are much appreciated.  Again, I think this has been sort of gradual, since I didn't really appeciate it much until it went away and came back.

Thanks!

I dunno how they check for arthritis, but since I've had two full rounds of bloodwork a few months apart and an LP, it probably was covered?

But I do plan to complain about feeling stiff the next time I see my physician.

Thanks for the thoughts.
