Stinging Pain in Chest and Calves

I have not been diagnosed yet but have several brain lesions and symptoms considered by the local MS Specialist to be suspicious for MS but not screaming MS.  Lately, I have had trigeminal neuralgia as well as this weird stinging pain in both calves and my chest.  As far as my chest, it feels like my nerve endings are on fire.  This scares me alot since I recently had a PE in August.  Has anyone else experience pain like this?  It is not constant - has been coming and going for weeks now.  Thanks!

Allison

I frequently have stinging pains in my fingertips, knees, and elbows.  They feel like somebody's poking me with a pin.  I've also had pain from spasticity, which feels more like a muscle cramp.  Do a google search for 'paresthesia' - it'll tell you what you need to know!

A PE is a Pulmonary Embolism.

I don't really get hot in my chest, just feels like each individual nerve ending is stinging.  It's so hard to describe!  I am at a loss for a better word!!  None of the sensations are like when your foot goes to sleep from sitting on it.  The pain in my calves is more like a shooting pain that comes and goes - also scary since I had a deep vein thrombosis which is now gone.

Hi there, I'm not yet Dx either and have about 20 lesions, Waiting for more testing.  I'm not sure what you mean by stinging..is it tingling?

I do get tingling and electric shock type feeling as well as  Hot spots.. like areas on my thighs or arms or calves etc..get hot for a few minutes then go away.... It's not painful..just a bother..
pain in your chest I would ask your Dr about...just to make sure it's not your heart?

what is a PE..

take care
