Strange Symptom

Hey all -

A quick question about a strange symptom I've been having lately ... when I shower, my body, especially my hands/fingers turn bright red in warm ( not hot ) water and feel like they are burning and throbbing.  The second (literally) that my hand is dry and feels cool air on them, they completely go flesh color (normal), no sensations linger.

Strange huh?  Does anyone else have extremity symptoms that are affected by heat like that?

Hey,

Thanks for the reply.  No, I've never experienced that reaction to cold but I do sometimes get "goose bumps" on my forearms when I wash my hands ... the water is neither real hot nor real cold and they just seem odd.  Certain sensations ... such as a light touch tend to make my forearms get  the "goose bumps" as well.  I get the goose bumps on my upper thighs as well sometimes but I havn't quite figured out what is causing them.  Thanks again.

Do they react to very cold temperatures (changing colors as well) or is it just the warm water?
