Strange lip drooping?

Hey all, just a quick question. Last week, I had several attacks ( about 6 or 7 times a day for a week) of pain up the side of my face, which from reading sounds like TN. It was very brief, but also very painful. Every time it happened, it would stop me dead in my tracks, and it felt like the world turned upside down.

On top of that, I noticed that I was continuously spilling my drink down the side of face, whenever I took a drink. Monday I bit my lip, and have done so everyday since, Ouch! I finally see that my right side of my lip is drooping. It is not numb, but the muscles on that side of the face feels very relaxed, and if I concentrate, I can make my lip appear normal.

Have any of you had this sort of symptom, meaning lip droop without numbness. I have read through the archives, and have found quite a bit of reference material on numb lips, but not this.

Thanks for any reference
Johnny

Oh, yeah.  I had a great deal of muscle weakness on the right side of my face, and for a while, I kept biting that side of my lip.  Ouch is right!  Once you bite it, it seems to stick out, so it's worse the next time.  My lip drooped, and my eyelid drooped.  Drinking liquids was a problem, because my mouth didn't always seal around the glass, so I'd dribble down the front of my shirt.  I'd also drool a bit out of that side of the face - annoying and disconcerting.  I had to keep checking it to make sure I wasn't leaking.

I had numbness in my face too, but not always in the same spots as the weakness.

All this makes me sounds like I was quite a sight!  But no, I looked pretty normal aside from the droopy eyelid and lip.
