Sweat in the night but wake up cold?

Sweat in the night but wake up cold?

Anyone else experience this? It's a new symptom for me and really bothersome. I'm sticky wet and it wakes me up, because I end up getting cold from the sweat on my body. Whats even more odd is that I don't wake up from being hot that causes the sweat, or didn't I get hot to begin with?! This is insane! I'm not menopausal!

I'm still not diagnosed from a Neuro, only the family doc and every radiologist that reads my MRI's. I don't get this! Even University Of Penn did me wrong. I barely got 30 mins with the doc and she said my lesions are migraine related. How frustrating! *mad face*

I hope everyone is doing well. <3

Hi!  I suffer off and on with night sweats too. I am not hot but cold instead and I am not suffering menopause either, lol!

We had a talk on this going a week or so ago and there were quite a few of us. It is on page 7 as of now under Is it Menopause Now.

I'm sure that other's will share there experience with you but until then if you want to check out the last thread on this you will find you are far from alone.

Hugs,
Erin :)

Some medications can cause night sweats.  Are you using any new ones?

I have them, too. make sure you don't drink any alcohol 3 hours prior to bed time. You may also be having some perimenopausal symptoms.....night-sweats....They can begin as early as 30 years of age. Oh, the things, we, women have to go through! Hang in there.

I was diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy in 2003. While doing some research I discovered that my symptoms are similar to that of MS.

I also suffer with the painfully cold, night sweats. I was not sleeping and desperate. I began trying anything that I thought would help.

I now put antiperspirant on my torso and feet before bed every night. It helps control it so that my sleep is not interrupted.

I hope this helps.

When I went to a lung specialist to determine if the damage on my lungs was from previous TB or sarciodosis (he determined it was neither) he asked me if I had night sweats (i didn't).

I assumed at the time that night sweats might be a sx of sarcoidosis.

Not sure if this is of any use to you. Good luck.

Mike
