Symptoms need help?

Hi everyone.  Here is my story.  I have been off work for the last 2 months.  I have been dx with (gad) generalized anxiety disorder a few month back.  3 close family members have passed away during these last 3 months.  I know I have had a issue with death since I lost my Mother at 16 due to cervical cancer.  I am a 35 yr old male.  I have never been seriously sick up till now.  My symptoms are:  pain in lower back that feels like arthritis, it actually radiates up my spine and sometime can feel it burning under both shoulders.  Also having nightsweats but have always been warm blooded my whole life, but has intensified since being put on Cymbalta for anxiety.  Both of my big toes go numb with pins and needles whenever I lay down, but are totally numb when I wake up in the morning.  The numbness goes away as I move around or stand up.  I have right hip pain which is noticable to touch or when I walk but normal when I sit down.  My caves both are pulsing in waves like electric shocks but no pain.  My right arm was doing that also but has stopped.  My right eye lid is droopy ( sagy).  I have notice this passed week feeling light headed when I get up quickly.  Over the past year I have developed quite afew little pin blood spots on chest down to ankles.  I have been having urinary issues over the last 3 months starting with very frequent urination, now normal but urine has gotten darker and constanly drinking to stay hydrated.  Forgot to mention eyes are dark but I have been having sleep issues.  Lastly I have horrible gas problems, more noticbly when I have dairy.  I basically can pass gas at will, which entertains my wife and daughter, they say I could play any instrument from trumpet to trombone! Lol.  Basically the arthritic and spinal pain is the worst symptom for me.  Here are my recent tests:  blood and urine negative for anything except low B-12, 5 times tested in
ER, full blood workup at a lab negative.  Endoscopy was clear, but have ordered a 24 hr PH test for Oct.  Colonoscopy negative, did have a couple of small hemroids, and a 1cm polyp that was biopsy as negative.  Abdominal ultrasound clear execpt a large amount of gas, could have bee air from colonoscopy but still have gas issues anyway.  GI has ordered CT abdominal but a Sports clinic at hospital is trying to schedule a CT of my back instead and getting me on waiting list for MRI of back.  My family doctor thinks it's an anxiety issue and has set up an appt with a psycologist this week... I am going as doctors don't believe me I know my body...and will fight the system that lost my Mothers papsmere back in the 90s and found it 6 months later! Only to show severe displasure, she died 2 months later...so sure I will keep pushing for my loving Wife and Daughter!  Sorry for the long post, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply... I forgot to mention all of my symptoms developed well before Cymbalta just went on it 2 weeks ago....I am more relaxed now I'm on it, I was gettting anxiety and panic attacks well before my musclar symptoms..  My liver function is perfect... No jaundice... Sorry for the miscommunication...all my nueroligical symptoms and fatigue started during the last 3 months.  Could anybody tell me if my symptoms could be this disease of many faces "MS"?  Any help would be appreciated...as I know will be along battle like many out there for a proper diagnosis!
Thank you.

My first thought is severe side effects from the cymbalta. What is the relation between when these symptoms started up and when the cymbalta was started? Or it could be with the use of any other drugs even OTC especially for cold, coughs or allergies. Cymbalta has a bad enough side effects list but depending on what else you take it could effect that or even caffeine and a lot more things have caffeine in them than you think. Do you have any jaundice (or yellowing of the skin or eyes), color of your mucous membranes. If you do have any fears that it may be the cymbalta then don't discontinue it whatever you do! this will cause a rebound effect in suicidal thinking, depression and anxiety. Consult the psychiatrist or psychologist, whomever you got the meds from and see if they can't switch it over to something else that will work. One more question though, how are your liver enzymes? The liver function test should have been performed when they did the blood work, if elevated, that's a sign to stop.
