The New Copaxone Planner Book

So I finally received my 2014 Copaxone planner in the mail, and it's different this year and I hate it! They only included one diagram page per month (the page with the layout of the different injection sites). Last year and the year before, the planner had one diagram page per *week*. That's how I learned to plan my injections, and that's what I'm used to.

How am I supposed to plan my injections now??!?!?! D@mn you, Shared Solutions! Boooooo!

Does anyone else hate it as much as I do?

Excellent point Lulu. That sneaky TEVA.

Hey Candy! I hope all is well. I have my body area rotation memorized, but I also rotate sections within each area. Oh my gosh, I just realized tomorrow will be exactly two years since I started Copaxone. My, how time flies!

Heh Jane, ya know what I always did with my Copaxone .  I started on my right leg, then left, the right buttock, then left buttock, then right arm and then left arm, then the stomach.  I did this same routine everyday for 1 1/2 years.  I sometimes got forgetful, so I would abbreviate , like rl,ll, rb... etc. on the calendar that would keep me on track.

I also know that when they changed this up on me too, this is when I started the routine.

Hope this helps., good to see ya though !!

((hugs))

The big WIN for TEVA is this begins the drug protection clock all over again for Copaxone, since it has expired and the generic version was looming.  This 'new' formulation gives them exclusive rights again.

Hey! I've missed you guys! I hope y'all are doing well.

I know I could print the pages (I could also photocopy the book), but I'm whining because I don't want to have loose pages and I really liked what I had last year. It worked well for me! You all are right though. It's really not that big of a transition. I suppose I'll survive ;P

I'd be willing to bet Teva's going to try to use this whole 3-per-week thing to save money and snag more market share. People who switch to the 3 injections a week schedule will receive 86% of the Copaxone they took previously. I'm guessing they're still gonna charge the same monthly rate for the 3 per week dosage as they do for the daily dosage though... I guess we'll see.

yep, the FDA approved it this week.  I had only thought about how nice it would be to only inject three times a week and gave no thought to the possible concern about the double dose.... interesting!

That ***** Jane!!! I totally agree and I also hate change. My rebif nurse keeps trying to make me switch to a new autoinjecter that retracts. I like what I have now thank you ! :)

Call shared solutions, I'm sure they can send you something different :).

Glad you are doing well XXX

Greetings Your Bi-coastalness!

Google Copaxone Injection Sites, then look at Images. There look like there are a bunch of different versions.

I'm not sure I'm down with doubling the quantity per injection. I already have dents. Hmm.

we hate changes, don't we?  Will you call them about the new Copaxone dosing?  Going to that 3 times a week may be more confusing with this lack of diagrams but I know you can handle it!  :-)
