I agree with what's already been said. No way to tell "severity".  Some people only have one or two lesions and have life altering symptoms, others have dozens and don't have any symptoms. There is no way to tell how your's will turn out.

The good news that I am reading from the report is that apparently your spine (other than th obvious) looks healthy (ie, no stenosis).

Narrowing of the spaces in the spine..can compress the nerves and cord.

Yes I take the DMD.  Jus started.  Rebif.  My rght leg got really weak for the first time b4 I even new anything about having MS.  My right thumb feels kinda weird sometimes.  Cognition can get really bad.  Since I took the solumedral foe 4 days, the the pills for a week after the iv thing, everything has been back to normal.  Except my rgt thumb and cognition.

Hi Kelli,

I was wonder if this was done on a 3T or 1.5T MRI?

If you currently have lesions in your spine, then I would think that you would feel the effects of them right now. So, if you're doing OK, then for now, you should be OK.

I have lesions in my spine, too. One of them is 4 cm (40 mm) long and I think another one is longer than that. I have spasticity with stiffness in my legs, and get all sorts of weird things with numbness/tingling/hyper-sensitivity/pinpricks off and on all the time and fun incontinence/frequency/urgency issues.  Plus, my legs feel really weak some days.

You have already started taking a DMD, right?

Nobody will tell you, because nobody really knows!  Even your neurologist won't tell you.  What they want you to do is tell them how *you're* doing.

All I can say is that I have several lesions in my spinal cord, and I'm still walking.  Everybody is different.

I have already been dx.  I was just wondering what the severity of these sounds like, I know you guys are really smart and informative about this type of thing.  That's why I'm asking
