I would consult a physician if these symptoms continue. The numbness, tingling, and spasms could be more than just a previous trapped nerve. I'm experiencing the same problems with the sensations moving about head to toe. My hands are affected mostly. Don't brush it off as nothing when there is a possibility it could be something.
Many thanks for your response
I had a sussposed trapped nerve some months ago and since then have had no feeling in the left side of my left foot??
I have had no visual symptoms but the numbness and tingling is now a daily thing and spreading, also experiencing spasms??
Hi there,
MS is unique to the individual, so each persons sx although common in nature still actually present quite differently. The most common sx (scientifically researched) that is recognised as leading to dx are visual eg double vision, Optic Neuritis, Nystagmus etc though that may not of been the MSers first sx.
Numbness and tingling are common sx to many many conditions or even medications but in MS, these issues in the early stage, typically present in odd patches on one side of the body, eg part of their left foot etc. It would be a red flag away from MS if these sx, are in all limbs, both sides of the body, rappidly spreading, moving around etc. So from those basic principals in my opinion, I dont think your sx are related to MS.
You mention you have a dx of panic disorder, i would consider looking up any medication (side affects) your taking and if its more than one, their interaction side affects. Most of the mental health medications are CNS delivered and can cause these and other sx's.
Cheers....JJ
