Today's lunch with Huff

Darn it!  I forgot to take a picture to share when I lunched with Huff1171 today.  He lives not far from my MS Clinic and we met at a very tasty chicken restaurant.  Of course it had to involve food, right?

He is a delightful, intelligent man, as I am sure most of you have surmised from his postings here. And he has very kind eyes, that allow you to see how much he is hurt by this.  

We had a comfortable  talk and he said it was ok to post a bit here – he said he would try to add on later.

He has talked to his kids – they are where he suspected, in Florida.  18 hours away by car is too large of a distance to separate a dad and his family.  I hope this won’t be a permanent move, for everyone’s sake.

He will be starting Tysabri, probably next week.  I believe he will really benefit from it – that is just my gut instinct.  I hope I’m right.

Again, I continue to urge any if possible to meet others from the forum in person.  I'm glad we did this today!

Awww...I am jealous.  You guys sound like there was good food and conversation and well, what else can you say.  

I think you should be nominated as the head mistress of the MedHelp MS Forum's equivalent of the Welcome Wagon.  You are truly amazing in how many people you have touched online and in person.  

Too bad abut the pics, but maybe next time.  We are planning a convention, right?!!!!

You are a star, shining brightly and I am so touched that you went and met Huff and so glad. This is really providing amazing support and was what I felt he most needed...some human contact. Thank you for being there and taking the time.....I think we have all been concerned by what Huff has gone through.

Last I looked, both Huff and Lulu had more than enough pix on their profiles to allow us to visualize each of them, but a pic of the two of them together would have been quite nice.
