Hi Michelle,
Sorry so late to see your post - I'm very behind with everyone too.
I hope you son is ok and there are no complications with the flu.
I know even some colleges they will shut it down for a bit with 10, so hope your school is all over this.
Take good care of yourself and treat yourself well through all this.
Thinking of you,

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I am trying my best to take care of myself. Stayed in bad most of the day yesterday, and am up now (6:00 A.M.), am supposed to leave in an hour to go to work.
I am on day 3 of a headache, but it is a Migraine and not a "sick" headache I have decided. It is a bit more tolerable and I am going to try to go to work. If it gets worse I will just go home. or to the ER for a shot of something to break the cycle. I think too much stress has brought this on.
We are keeping careful watch over Seth. Poor guy, he is pretty under the weather with this flu. The pediatrician said it is most likely the swine flu, as he was already vaccinated for the seasonal flu, and the office is seeing about 85% of kids with the swine flu at this point. The doc is angry with the state of OHIO and the Gov, regarding the vaccines. They should have been available 2 months ago, but with politics it is still not out, and the kids are all sick now. It is very widespread here, but fortunately most healthy kids are doing fine with the virus.
Thanks again,
Michelle
Dear Michelle,
Funny, I was just thinking this morning that we should talk this weekend. I'm sorry the copaxone has not gotten better - you may very well have to switch to a different DMD is this keeps up. Don't try to tough it out too long - there are people who cannot take this drug and you may be one of them.
Besides, if you take something different you will have a lot more refrigerator space! LOL
Don't let your little guy with the asthma get too sick with the flu - this swine thing has serious side effects for people with breathing disorders, but you probably already know that.
It seems like six months was just yesterday, doesn't it? Time moves much too fast.
Take care of yourself and your family, we will chat again soon.
lots of hugs to you,
L
Take care of yourself Michelle, you need to take care of your children - and also of yourself. Bear in mind that you have to be on form to be able to cope.
Look on the bright side, maybe it's not swine flu - and just a regular cold/flu.
You need to take care of yourself too OK?? I also think that to shut the school for a week would be a good idea, so that they can check everything out.
Take care and be strong,
Debs xx
Sounds like you have a lot going on. Losing people we love is hard. I hope you do not get the flu. Good for you for sticking to Copaxone even with issues. I hope your Doctor is keeping close tabs.
Hang in there,
Alex
