Trying to figure things out

by kimmyarra, Sep 21, 2009 04:25PM
Did anyone have low vitamin b12, or abnormal thyroid test results when they were first waiting to get a dx?  I was wondering if low b12, and/or abnormal thyroid are common with ms.  My mri had several inhanced lesions.  Could either of these two cause the lesions to show up?

I am not sure but I do know you can have MS and other things at the same time.

I hope that's not the case.

Hi.  It is my understanding that low b12 can cause the symptoms of MS.  As far as causing enhancing lesions, I don't know. (I don't think so)   I do not believe that low thyroid can cause lesions, but can make you very tired.  Sorry I can't be of more help.

What are your symptoms?
