Twitching thumb and finger - right hand

My right thumb and index finger have been twitching lately.  There is no pain involved and it's my right hand only.  What could be causing this?

I don't know your whole story but I can tell you I've been down the "Google every symptom" path and it leads to no where.  Or it will lead to an anxiety filled existence where you're glued to your computer and you think your head will fall off.

Any questions you have are better posted to your Dr.  Don't be afraid to see them for little things that bother you.  That's what they're there for and if they brush you off then find a new one.  Dr.'s are literally a dime a dozen, but good ones aren't.

Hope this helps!

The only thing I can add to what Lulu said is that twitches can be perfectly normal. They don't always mean that somthing is wrong. But as she said you didn't give much info on what all has been going on.

It would be helpful to know if you have seen a doctor for this, if you are seeing a doctor for any neurological issue and is this the only symptom you are having or are there more things going on?

Hope you get some answers, welcome to the boards!

Hi and welcome.  From what little information you give here, this could be just about anything from carpal tunnel to a tumor someplace.  Sorry we can't be of more help unless you can fill in some of the blanks.

be well,
Lulu
